FAQ

WARNINGS:

Slime is NOT edible!! It may smell good but it is NOT good to eat! Slime is intended for those ages 13 & up, if your little one is playing with slime make sure they are supervised 100% of the time!

There may or may not be small parts and choking hazards inside the slime (charms, foam beads, etc). Make sure children do NOT place anything into their mouth.

Hands should be washed before and after play time.

Basic Slime Ingredients: Glue, Water, Borax, Fragrance Oil (Clay, Instant Snow, Fake Snow, Coloring as needed).

STICKY SLIME:

If your slime is sticky upon arrival or if it gets sticky over slime you will need to add some activator solution. Activator solution is made up of borax and water. Use 1 TBSP of borax powder to 1 1/2 cups of warm water and let it dissolve. When storing activator solution make sure the container is LABELED. Slowly add a little bit of activator to the slime and mix thoroughly. Slowly add more until you get to the desired texture! I always recommend using lotion before playing with slime as it creates a "barrier" between your hands and the slime!

HARD SLIME:

If your slime is tough, add some lotion or vegetable glycerin. If you over activate the slime you can add vegetable glycerin or glue directly. You may also leave the slime in a warm place and wait for it to soften.

HELP MY SLIME GOT ON THE CARPET OR IN HAIR!!:

Don't worry!! White vinegar will get slime out of most things! Add a little bit on white vinegar directly on affected fabric & lightly scrub, it will begin to melt the slime away. Then add warm water to wash vinegar out. If slime has hardened, use a warm wash cloth to warm up the slime then add the white vinegar and repeat until gone!
